Here’s what happened during the latest Botar Atenista
- Only 1 out of the 10 SBMSC Candidates won, DASIG filled most of the seats
- Only 3 out of the 4 Co-Curricular Organizations are filled by SAMAHAN
- In fact, DASIG filled most of the seats across organizations in Xavier University

For the first time in decades, the SBM Student Council has been taken over by a different political party, DASIG*. SAMAHAN was one of the power houses of Alyansang Atenista, bringing in the most number of votes. This take-over including internal conflicts resulted to less renewal of membership in the party.
*DASIG is founded by former AA members who had previous misunderstandings with the AA Core. They currently use this story to mudsling Alyansang Atenista as a whole.
